Minor Injuries Unit
The Minor Injuries Unit at Teignmouth Hospital was closed on Monday 4th January 2016.
All MIU services will be held at Dawlish and Newton Abbot Hospitals, please phone the Minor Injury Unit before attending.
Minor injuries include the following:
- Lacerations
- Bruises
- Minor dislocations
- Foreign bodies
- Recent injury of a severity not amenable to simple domestic first aid
- Recent injury where it is suspected stitches may be required
- Head injury with no loss of consciousness
- Recent eye injury
- Burns
- Minor trauma
