Practice Nurse
The practice nurse is available by appointment between 8.45am and 5.30pm and offers a wide range of services, but is particularly concerned with preventing disease and promoting good health. She routinely undertakes the following:- dressings, removal of sutures, routine injections, ear syringing, travel advice and vaccinations, blood tests, blood pressure checks, urine tests, ECGs, cervical smear tests and health checks. Advice is also offered regarding minor ailments and injuries and she plays an important part in monitoring and providing information for those with diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure.
